MessageGears Launches Segment Personalization Tool

US-based customer marketing platform MessageGears has launched a tool called Segment, through which marketers can create dynamic audiences using live, real-time data, and use the results to drive personalized messaging campaigns through e-mail, mobile push and SMS.

MessageGears connects directly to companies’ existing data sources, enabling marketers to use their customer data in real-time and deliver targeted, cross-channel messages. The firm’s new Segment solution connects directly to the client’s data warehouse, and creates segments within its segmentation engine behind the client’s firewall. According to the firm, through the tool, enterprise marketers can utilize their data to create campaigns tailored to specific audiences, and export them to any third-party platform they use to send.

Dan Roy (pictured), Chief Product Officer and company co-founder, comments: ‘Looking at the market of segmentation and campaign management products, we noticed that most of them were huge applications that were cumbersome to use and had lengthy installations. In creating MessageGears’ Segment product, we focused on making a tool that leveraged the power of directly connecting to client data and a simple, easy-to-use, customer experience.’
